tug of war between Mind and Heart
Logic and Reason Vs. Emotions and Feelings
never-ending struggle for Power
internally the war rages
and I'm being Devoured...
...I spray the fire with water to cleanse like a shower
you fan the flames and spit verbalized venom
your words and the pain they cause are set to kill
one weakness; underestimating my Power of Will
Will to Survive
Will to Prevail
Will to traverse the cosmos and set sail
attacking through text messages and email
attacking my maturity
attacking my intelligence
attacking my income
attacking my way of life
calling me childish
calling me trife
and still you claim to love me and want to remain friends
I find that hard to comprehend...peace
